I've found the recipe for being happy whether full or hungry, hands full or hands empty. Whatever I have, wherever I am, I can make it through anything in the One who makes me who I am. Philippians 4:12-13

Reset
Mark hasn't been feeling real well this week. His mantra has been, "Mama, I have a runny nose." He doesn't like to admit it, though, so he keeps going full steam ahead...until he just can't go any longer. I sent the boys up to play in their rooms while I finished getting dinner ready, and then it got very, very quiet. After savoring those moments, I found Nathan playing quietly and Mark snoozing.
While Mark was asleep, Nathan and I played the tire-fishing game. It was so relaxing to sit down and do that with him.
Mark woke up kind of groggy and a little cranky, but hungry. Right now, Greg is reading them one of their favorite Curious George books. This pretty spring day is winding down nicely.
