15 minutes in the pack n' play

After nearly a year of having Mark in the family, the value of the pack n' play has finally become apparent to me. He only tolerated it for about 15 minutes yesterday, but still...

Nathan asked to get in, too. He actually liked playing in there long after Mark was out and crawling around the house.

I can't believe what a big boy Mark is. I almost thought he was Nathan in the photos.

We are big believers in the pack and play since Cassidy is such an active crawler.

Yeah, I don't know why it took me so long to figure out this solution. He did end up crying about it after being in there for the 15 minutes, but I figured he was safe and had the option of playing with toys, so he was okay. It did save me a lot of effort when it came to things like getting Nathan up from a nap, answering the door, etc.

Some method of safe, comfortable periodic confinement for toddlers can be very useful. (We called it a playpen back in the old days...you didn't mind it every now and then!) -- Dad
