M and N are adjusting nicely to each other. Pretty much, M eats and sleeps, and N tells us when he's crying! This morning, I held baby M in one arm and N in my lap while we read a story. N is always offering to give baby M kisses.

...and then a nice nap in Mama's arms - this is his "preferred napping environment."
We celebrated N's 2nd birthday on Saturday. Guests were my parents, Grandma and sister M. N had a ball - he loved eating his birthday cake and having everyone sing to him.
The cake had a cool car and roadway on top!
And red velvet was a hit for everyone, especially the birthday boy. Happy Birthday to our first baby!

i'm glad to know you are home again! i'm sorry M had a problem with gaining weight! I pray you have a sweet, precious time from now on and no more serious problems! God bless you sweet friend!

Thanks! Just to clarify, his weight gain has been great - sorry if the way I wrote that sounded like there had been a problem. He was 8 lb 4 oz at birth, 7 lb 15 oz when we went home, and at 1 week, he was back up to 8 lb 5 oz!
